Canadian mining companies played a key role in delivering another successful year for the world's largest miners in 2019, helping the industry enter a challenging 2020 from a position of strength. For the period ended Dec. 31, 2019, revenues for the world's 40 largest mining companies by market capitalization rose 4%, to US692 billion.
